Mumbai- Rohit Pawar, the Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) representing the Karjat, Jamkhed constituency, has taken a firm stand against the lack of developmental initiatives in his region. In a show of protest, he gathered in front of the revered Shivaji statue in the Vidhan Sabha premises, demanding immediate attention to the pressing concerns faced by his constituents.
Among the critical issues raised by MLA Rohit Pawar, the dire need for a Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) in the region takes center stage. He stressed that establishing an MIDC in Karjat, Jamkhed could provide ample employment opportunities to the youth, ultimately driving economic growth and prosperity in the area.
However, despite numerous pleas, the current Eknath Shinde-led government of Maharashtra has repeatedly rejected MLA Pawar's demand. This has sparked frustration among the residents who have been longing for a brighter future with better infrastructure and employment prospects.
The protest gained attention from various quarters, with citizens voicing their support for MLA Pawar's endeavors to uplift the region. As the situation unfolds, the public eagerly awaits a positive response from the state government to address the long-standing grievances and transform Karjat, Jamkhed into a model constituency that thrives on development and progress.
