Amidst speculations of more political shifts, rumors circulated about Jayant Patil, a key figure in the Sharad Pawar-led NCP, also considering a move to the BJP.
Jayant Patil Denies Joining BJP
Jayant Patil, a senior leader within the Sharad Pawar faction of the NCP, has firmly denied rumors of him joining the BJP. Patil clarified that he has neither received an offer nor been in contact with any BJP leaders. He emphasized that he hasn't visited Delhi recently, dispelling any possibility of secret meetings with BJP officials.
Raju Shetti's Return to MVA Uncertain
When questioned about Raju Shetti potentially rejoining the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA), Patil stated that no discussions have taken place between Shetti and the MVA. He mentioned ongoing talks within the MVA, led by Uddhav Thackeray, which have been ongoing for eight days. Patil affirmed that the MVA is gearing up for the Maharashtra polls with a comprehensive strategy.
