Renowned Bollywood director Sikander Bharti passed away at the age of 60 on May 24, 2024, in Mumbai. The cause of his death is currently unknown.
Sikander Bharti was a celebrated director known for his work on popular films such as "Rangeela Raja," "Ghar Ka Chirag," "Bhai Bhai," and "Do Funtoosh." Over his illustrious career, he collaborated with many of Bollywood’s biggest stars, including Rajesh Khanna, Shahrukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, and Govinda.
Bharti's passing has left a void in the film industry. Many from the Bollywood community have expressed their condolences and paid tribute to his contribution to Indian cinema.
His funeral was held on May 25 at the Oshiwara crematorium, attended by family, friends, and colleagues from the film fraternity. Sikander Bharti is survived by his wife Pinky and their three children, Sipika, Yuvika, and Socrates.
Bharti's legacy in Bollywood will be remembered through the films he directed and the impact he had on the industry.
