Over 27,000 Students in Mumbai Still Waiting for Class XI Admissions

 

Over 27,000 students in Mumbai are still awaiting Class XI admissions despite the recent completion of the sixth special admission round. Out of 3,039 students selected, 2,400 confirmed their admissions. While 2.72 lakh students have secured seats, 1.01 lakh seats remain vacant. The education department plans to release a daily merit round schedule. Changes have been made to address last year’s criticism of the First-Come-First-Serve (FCFS) method.
