Cracks on Katol-Warud Road Lead to Fatal Accident Near Jalalkheda

 A tragic accident took place on Sunday, June 1, 2025, on the Katol-Warud road near Jalalkheda, Maharashtra. A 40-year-old man named Haridas Narayan Nimburkar, who was a resident of Naygaon, lost his life in the incident. He was riding his motorcycle from Naygaon to Jalalkheda when the accident happened around 3:30 PM.

According to local sources, Nimburkar lost control of his motorcycle due to large cracks on the road near a petrol pump at Punarvasan. These dangerous cracks made it difficult for him to keep control of his bike, which ended up hitting the road divider. Sadly, the crash proved to be fatal.

The Katol-Warud road, especially near Jalalkheda, has been in poor condition for some time. This is not the first time that such cracks on the road have caused serious accidents. Local residents and travelers have raised concerns about road safety in the area, but no major repair work has been done so far.

This recent incident once again highlights the urgent need for proper maintenance on the Katol-Warud road.
