BJP Hints at Karnataka CM Change Amid Claims of Congress Rift

BJP Hints at Karnataka CM Change

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has alleged that the Congress party is facing internal divisions and hinted that the Chief Minister’s post in Karnataka could see a shake-up after the Bihar elections. The claim suggests that factionalism or leadership struggles within the ruling party may lead to a reshuffle or even the replacement of the current state leader.

The BJP’s remarks come at a time when political observers are closely watching electoral contests and alliance shifts across the country. With Congress leading the government in Karnataka, the allegation seeks to cast doubt on the stability of its leadership while setting a preemptive narrative for potential changes.

Congress leaders, however, have firmly dismissed the claims, stressing that decisions regarding state leadership are the prerogative of the party’s high command. They also rejected what they called external interference in internal party matters, insisting that the government remains united and focused on governance.

As Bihar heads into a crucial election, the BJP’s attack highlights the wider political tussle shaping up between the two national parties, where both internal cohesion and leadership control are becoming defining themes in state-level politics.
